A-AA Boys Individual Predictions

100 M	1. Chris Claudio	Ravenswood
	2. Jeff Lemasters	Magnolia
	3. Roger Snyder Wheeling Central
	4. Jeremy Dosier	Winfield
	5. DeWayne Smith	Weir
	6. Donald Amaker	Bluefield
Claudio is a heavy favorite, but he was a heavy favorite
last year as well, when Lemasters pulled off the upset.

200 M	1. Chris Claudio	Ravenswood
	2. Jamie Dove Williamstown
	3. Jeff Lemasters	Magnolia
	4. Jeremy Dosier	Winfield
	5. Jonathan Feddock	Shady Spring
	6. Roger Snyder Wheeling Central
Claudio is again the heavy favorite, but conditioning is a
concern. Claudio doesn't train full-time for track, and that
hindered him last year, but he's run several meets this year
as opposed to only regionals last year.

400 M	1. Jamie Dove Williamstown
	2. Nate Joy Williamstown
	3. Jonathan Feddock	Shady Spring
	4. Rich Shilling	Oak Glen
	5. Jeremy Howard	Buffalo
	6. Dusty Dent Gilmer
The first four should be pretty close, but Dove has had the
most consistent season and should come out on top of a relatively
weak field.

800 M	1. Josh Watson Magnolia
	2. Nate Joy Williamstown
	3. Jody Morgan Sissonville
	4. Derek Dailey Doddridge
	5. Dusty Dent Gilmer
	6. Derek Miles Winfield
If Watson is going to get beat, here is where it will happen.
However, it's not likely. He's the defending champion, and
his conditioning is good enough to recover easily from the
3200 and 1600.

1600 M	1. Josh Watson Magnolia
	2. West Garrett East Hardy
	3. Derek Dailey Doddridge
	4. Jody Morgan Sissonville
	5. Adam Cross Sissonville
	6. Zach Warren Charleston Catholic
Watson should have an easy time in this event. Second place
is wide open. Most of the contenders will have run the 3200
the night before. Dailey and Morgan will be fresher, making
them prime candidates for the second spot. Garrett has already
run 4:35 the morning after running a 9:57, though.

3200 M	1. Josh Watson Magnolia
	2. Adam Cross Sissonville
	3. West Garrett East Hardy
	4. Denny Hayes Doddridge
	5. Zach Warren Charleston Catholic
	6. Shaun Spielman	Berkeley Springs
Watson should again dominate. Cross was the 2nd place finisher
at the state cross country meet and has run a 9:53 this season.

110 HH	1. Jon Huffman Ritchie
	2. Doug Dillaman	Tyler
	3. Kirk Wilson Magnolia
	4. Levi Hall Fayetteville
	5. Tony Feaster Petersburg
	6. Wes Morton Winfield
Huffman will run away from the field.

300 IH	1. Jon Huffman Ritchie
	2. Kirk Wilson Magnolia
	3. Wolfi Lanzer Williamstown
	4. Levi Hall Fayetteville
	5. Jason Jones Ritchie
	6. Tony Feaster Petersburg
See Jon run. See Jon win.

4x100 M	1. Magnolia
	2. Winfield
	3. Bluefield
	4. Shady Spring
	5. Braxton
	6. Bridgeport
Magnolia and Winfield may be close, but no one else should be.

4x200 M	1. Magnolia
	2. Winfield
	3. Shady Spring
	4. Tyler
	5. Braxton
	6. Weir
Magnolia and Winfield should again run away from the field.

4x400 M	1. Williamstown
	2. Magnolia
	3. Sissonville
	4. Ritchie
	5. Frankfort
	6. Bridgeport
The weak open 400 Meter field carries over into the relay
as we have a weak 4 X 400 field. Williamstown should win
this going away.

4x800 M 1. Williamstown
	2. Magnolia
	3. Doddridge
	4. Gilmer
	5. Ritchie
	6. Winfield
Doddridge owns the best time coming in, but a fully loaded
Williamstown team can run around an 8:15, and Magnolia always
comes up with a very strong 4 X 800 team.

Shuttle	1. Ritchie
	2. Tucker
	3. Winfield
	4. Oak Glen
	5. Tyler
	6. Ravenswood
Ritchie has Jon Huffman running the anchor leg of the relay
which gives them an edge over everyone else. Oak Glen is a
threat to win if Matt Volino is back.

L Jump	1. Chris Claudio	Ravenswood
	2. Justin Bowers	Pendleton
	3. Jamie Dove Williamstown
	4. Derek Palmer Magnolia
	5. Doug Dillaman	Tyler
	6. Jeremy Hoops Winfield
Claudio is the clear favorite, but Bowers won the event last
year.

H Jump 1. Jon Huffman Ritchie
	2. Rich Shilling	Oak Glen
	3. Jared Davis St. Marys
	4. Tony Clackler	Midland Trail
	5. Greg Preston Magnolia
	6. Cliff Snodgrass	Braxton
Huffman and Shilling are a step above the rest. Huffman has
not been beaten this year.

Discus	1. Charles Legg Liberty Raleigh
	2. Lucas Henger Ritchie
	3. Joey Hunt East Bank
	4. Jeremy Richards	Doddridge
	5. DeWayne Smith	Weir
	6. Carl Gable Lincoln
Legg and Henger get the top spots based on consistency.

Shot	1. Chris Nunn East Bank
	2. T.J. Watson South Harrison
	3. Eric Bibb Mount Hope
	4. Scott Cunningham	Winfield
	5. Nathan Skaggs	Mount Hope
	6. Jeff Miller Williamstown
Any of the top 3 could win the event, but Nunn is the only
competitor to have topped 52' this year.

P Vault	1. Eric Fenton Williamstown
	2. Robert Tant Winfield
	3. Ryan Parsons Williamstown
	4. Conner Robertson	Winfield
	5. Ryon Anderson	Liberty Harrison
	6. Jason Buttrey	Williamstown
The Vaulting field is very strong with 7 competitors that
have topped 13' this season. Fenton and Tant each have vaulted
over 14' this season, with Fenton having a 1/2" edge.
