Track Coaches:
I just want to put out some feelers to see if we can generate any interest in an Invitational-sized meet at the new Westwood Facility in Morgantown. The date would be Saturday, May 15, 1999. Coaches meeting at 9:30, Field Events start at 10:00, running events at 10:45. We would need to limit the meet to 10 teams with 2 entries per event, and possibly 2 relays per school. Monongalia County has purchased sufficient equipment to run a meet this size and our assistant superintendant is very much interested in seeing an invitational happen this season.
I know this is extremely late notice and the timing falls around prom season and the weekend before our regional meets, however, I know there are coaches out there who can plan this now and have their teams participate.
