Here are some dates of meets from Paul Gilmer of the Capital City Striders. (See Below) The Capital City Striders will begin preparing for the outdoor season by starting indoor practice on Saturday January 16th from 10:00 A.M. to Noon. Additional indoor practice sessions will be held on January 23, February 6,13,20 and 27. They will try to begin practicing outdoors in March. They may try to participate in some indoor meets if everything works out. Additionally, I have received information on the indoor Track and Field season for Illinois including the YOUTH NATIONAL INDOOR INVITATIONAL (Held February 6-7 1999). I have also received information about the 14th ANNUAL AAU NATIONAL YOUTH INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD AND TRIATHALON/PENTATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS to be held in Merrillville, Indiana February 26-28, 1999. Finally, I have a listing of the Ohio USATF Youth Athletics Track Schedule for this summer. Please note that this year, the AAU Qualifier and Regional are in Charleston, WV and that the national meet is in Cleveland, Ohio. This would be a great opportunity for those wanting to participate against the best in the region and nation. We will bring you more information as it becomes available. We also release additional dates from the Capital City Striders as soon as we receive them.
