Williamstown's Alyssa Sauro has been named the 2024 Ray McCoy Award Winner as the Female Track & Field Athlete of the Year in West Virginia. This followed a season in which she recorded the State's Top Times in the 800 Meter Run (2:15.69), the 1600 Meter Run (4:49.72), and the 3200 Meter Run (10:16.44) while also scoring State Titles in each of the three events. In addition, she anchored the winning 4x800 Meter Relay Team.
