DICK DUNLAP WINFIELD CLASSIC

When:  Friday April 19, 2024

Where:  Winfield High School

Time:  3:45 – Scratch/Coaches Meeting

            4:00 – Field Events    Boys – Discus, Long Jump, Pole Vault (Shot, HJ follows)

                                                 Girls – Shot, HJ (Discus, LJ, and PV) follows

            4:30 – Running Events – This will be a 2 SESSION MEET. Please refer to the February Interscholastic for 2 session meet schedule.

· 8 FASTEST times in trials will run in the finals (100, 200, 100H, 110HH).

Entry Fee: $75.00/team or $125 for boys/girls team

Make checks payable to: Winfield High School Track and Field 11268 Winfield Rd.  Winfield, WV.  25213.  You can either mail entry fee or bring day of the meet.

Entries:  All schools must enter using Athletic.net. Entry deadline is 1 pm Friday April 19.     

Schools may enter up to 3 individuals per event and 1 relay team per event.  This meet will be LIMITED to 12 teams.  The following 11 teams have confirmed: Nicholas County, Ripley, South Charleston, Chapmanville, Tolsia, Hurricane, Poca, St. Albans, Wayne, Teays Valley Christian, and Charleston Catholic.   If interested in attending, please contact Coach David Bailey (dbailey@k12.wv.us) or Coach Shawn Anderson (smanders@k12.wv.us) .

Awards:  Individual 1-6 medals, 7-8^th place ribbons.

Food:  There will be a concession stand and meals provided to coaches.
