Winfield's Brayden Marshall was named the 2023 Ray McCoy Award winner as the top athlete in the State.

Marshall's 2023 Track Season resulted in wins in the 3200 and 1600 Meter Run, narrowly missing the State Meet Record in the 1600, and a 2nd place finish in the 800 Meter Run. He also led the 4x800 Meter Relay Team to a 10 second win while earning the High Point Award for the Meet.

His 2023 Cross Country Season resulted in a 45 second win in the Class AA State Meet and a 5th place finish in the Footlocker National Championship.
