Coaches,

As we close in on the LKC Championship something comes to my mind that I had originally thought about, and it deal with the placing at the for the LKC Championship. As we all know the LKC is a very large and very competitive conference in many of the sports that the conference teams compete in not just with in our conference ranks but on the regional and state levels. The high level of the LKC conference is not only based on our confidence we have in our athletes, but in their performances over the last 18 years alone. In the last 18 years a team from the LKC has won the A Girls State Championship 15 times, the A Boys State Championship 15 times, and the AA Boys State Championship 4 times.

With this high level of competition from our LKC Track programs and the current change that the WVSSAC has increased the number of placers in the Regional and State Track Meets to 8 places; I feel that our Meet should align with those meets and also place 8 in each event.
