University's Drew Zundell has been named the 2023 West Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year. Zundell capped his Junior campaign with a 4:08.44 State Meet Record in the 1600 after splitting 1:52 in the 4x800. He hit another highlight in the post-season with an 8:58.84 in the 3200 at the RunningLane Championships.
