Dear Coach:

Here is the information for the 2022 Doddridge County High School "Season Opener Track Meet" to be held on Friday, March 25, 2021, at Cline Stansberry Stadium at Doddridge County High School.

Time: Field events (Boys: Pole Vault, Long Jump, & Discus; Girls: High Jump & Shot Put) will begin at 4:00pm. Running events will begin at 4:30pm. We will follow the WVSSAC order of events for a one-session meet.

Awards: Ribbons to all placers 1-6

Entry Fee: None

Entry Deadline: Hy-Tek entries need to be e-mailed to runwv@runwv.com by Monday, March 21, 2022. The event file that is needed will be posted on www.runwv.com. If you haven’t had a meet yet, please use reasonable estimates when entering your athletes. (Not past PR’s, but what is likely now.)

Entries: You may enter 3 individuals in each individual event and 2 relay teams in each relay event, though only one relay team from the same school can place and score in a relay event.

Scratches: Please FAX your scratches and replacements before noon on meet day (304-873-1873). Last minute scratches and replacements will also be accepted until 3:30pm at the meet. If possible, though, please make every effort to get this information to us no later than noon.

Miscellaneous: Starting blocks will be provided. We will have 8 sets of blocks at each starting line. We hope that you will use only our starting blocks, but if you bring your own, you will be responsible for transporting them from event to event. The longest spikes allowed on our track are ¼ inch. Participants in the throws and long jump will get 4 attempts. There will be no finals!
