WORLD CHARLESTON RELAYS

Dear Coaches: Men/Women
This is your invitation to participate in the 2021 Tudor’s Biscuit
World Charleston Relays, May 20-22 at Laidley Field, Charleston, WV, also the
location of the West Virginia State Track Meet. The meet is spread over three days similar to this year’s
State Meet with modifications. Class AA
will be run on May 20th, Class AAA will be run May 21st,
and finally Class A will be run on May 22nd. There is an entry fee of $70.00 per school
to help defray operating expenses and awards.
THE ENTRY FEE IS DUE NO LATER THAN MAY 7th . Checks are to be made out to LAIDLEY FIELD with
TUDOR’S RELAYS on the memo line.

entries will need to be done electronically.
There will be no hard copy entry sheets.
Entries are to be sent by Hy-Tek Team Manager Lite to Marshall Cavender,
our meet technician. Be sure your pole-vaulters use the proper
pole and you complete the vaulter's form. This will be enforced for their
safety. WVSSAC and NF rules will apply. There will be a Jury of Appeals. We
suggest you make copies of your forms upon completing them and bring them with
you.
Medals will be given to the top three finishers and ribbons for fourth
through sixth in each event and plaques to the top three teams in each
division, both boys and girls, as well as the high point winners in each
division AND
NEW AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING FEMALE AND MALE ATHLETES. The divisions are AAA, AA & A. Please
be sure and indicate your division. *Note: Out-of-state teams please indicate
total number of boys and girls enrolled in grades 9-12. (Class AAA 801 and
above, Class AA 451-800, Class A 450 and below) It would be most helpful to us if you would send Marshall Cavender your
eligibility sheets as soon as possible. We will enter them into the computer
and assign them a number. Entries must be limited to two (2) contestants per event.
No additions or changes
will be allowed. Scratches only.
We will have (2) two non-scoring fun events. The 4 x 100m King (200
lbs. and over) and Queen Relays. Medals are awarded for the top three
finishers.
Coaches with scratches or any
questions/issues need to see the meet director, Jim Crawford, by 2:00 p.m. on
the day of the meet under the South Stands next to the Field Manager's office.
Please have your scratch sheets completed in order that we may get them quickly
to the computer for seeding purposes. You may e-mail your scratches before 9:00
a.m. on the day of the meet. E-mail them to
