2021 WVSSAC COVID MODIFICATIONS FOR TRACK & FIELD

Revisions to information in this document may be made at any time during the season

Ø Participants in any session of a track meet are limited to a total of 250 athletes.

Ø Everyone is to wear a face covering at all times except when performing vigorous activity.

Ø Social distance should be maintained.

Ø Teams should have assigned seating.

Ø It is recommended that officials wear face coverings at all times

Ø No handshaking

Ø Batons should be cleaned after each relay.

Ø Shot put and discus must be cleaned after each use. The retriever should wear gloves.

Ø No sharing of water bottles, towels, etc.
