Pleasants County Middle School Relays Invitational

Start time: 4:30 Field events, 5:30 Races

 

Entry Fee: $50.00 for boys or girls; $100 for both teams of each school

Entries: Each team may enter an A team and B team.

 

Because we will hand-time the meet, we are asking that coaches submit their entrees using Excel or Word. Please include a time for each relay team and individual heights/distances for field events. The entry deadline will be Friday, April 19.

 

Field Events’ results will be tallied and the sum of the three best performances used to calculate a “relay” result for each field event.

 

Awards:

Ribbons given to places one through six in each event.

 

Scratches:

Please, e-mail your scratches by 11:00 AM on the day of the meet to mejones@k12.wv.us. Final scratches can be made by 3:00 at the meet.

 

The maximum spike length allowed is 3/16" (Will be checked). Spikes are not permitted in the bleachers or on the football field.

Tape is not permitted on the track. Markers may be used for jumping events and relays. Drinks and food will not be permitted on the turf.

Use your own shot/discus and batons. Standard blocks will be provided.

The pole vault weight verification form is to be turned in to the pole vault judge before warming up for the event.

Team tents may be set up in the bleachers on the visitors’ side of the field.
