On 2/2, Ripley's Tori Starcher made the trek to Winston-Salem, NC to compete in the Camel City Elite Mile as the only high school participant. She finished 6th of 10 competitors in the HS/College/Pro mixture.

She clocked a stellar 4:45.14 in the event, which is a PR for her, and puts her just over a second off Amelia Paladino's All-Time mark for WV HS runners. The time converts to a 4:43.49 1600 M.
