Individual Predictions

100 M	1. Kenadee Wayt	Wheeling Central
	2. Jonna Ferrell	Doddridge
	3. Lilly McMullen	Williamstown
	4. Abbe Stackpole	Paden City
	5. Jaci Rohde Magnolia
	6. Julie Agee Greenbrier West
Wayt gets the nod based on the best regoinal performance and having her top two times come
in her last two meets and by virtue of not having ran the 400 earlier in the morning. Ferrell
is the defending champion and has the top time in the field and the best overall series,
standing as the only one with five runs under 13 seconds. McMullen won her region and has
four runs under 13 seconds and knocked off Ferrell at the LKC meet. Stackpole was close
behind Wayt at their Regional, but that's her only run under 13 seconds. Rohde just missed
cracking the 13 second barrier at the regions. Agee has three runs of 13.32 or better.

200 M	1. Lilly McMullen	Williamstown
	2. Jonna Ferrell	Doddridge
	3. Kenadee Wayt	Wheeling Central
	4. Abbe Stackpole	Paden City
	5. Ella McMullen	Williamstown
	6. Carly Dowiak	Madonna
McMullen has dominated the event all season. Her top time is almost 0.6 seconds ahead of
anyone else. She has five runs under 26.40. Ferrell is the defending champion and has the
next best series with four runs under 27 seconds. Wayt had a better regional run than Ferrell
and has a trio of runs under 27 seconds. Stackpole has a pair of sub-27 runs to her credit
with them occurring in her last two meets. McMullen has three runs under 27.50 and knocked
off Ferrell at the LKC meet. Dowiak aslo has three runs under 27.50 with those occurring in
her last three meets.

400 M	1. Lilly McMullen	Williamstown
	2. Ella McMullen	Williamstown
	3. Jonna Ferrell	Doddridge
	4. Nicole Billie	Wheeling Central
	5. Erica Davis St. Marys
	6. Danielle Roberts	Greenbrier West
Lilly McMullen has dominated this event as well. She has the top time by over 2 seconds,
and is the only one to have gone under 60 seconds, which she's done three times, including a
58.21. Ella McMullen is the only other one to have been under 61 seconds, which she did
at the Regional. Ferrell only has the 6th best top time and the 5th best regional performance,
but she is the defending champion and she's one of just two in the field with three runs
under 62 seconds. Billie has a pair of runs under 61.6 and was 4th last year. Davis also
has a pair of runs under 61.6 and knocked off Ferrell in an April meet. Roberts has the
3rd best top time in th efield, but that's her only run under 63 seconds.

800 M	1. Sydney Smith	Buffalo
	2. Ella Hesson Williamstown
	3. Nicole Billie	Wheeling Central
	4. Tori Combs Williamstown
	5. Erica Davis St. Marys
	6. McKenzie Moran	St. Joseph
Smith has the top time in the field and has 3 runs under 2:24 and at least five under 2:26.
Hesson has the second best top time and has four runs under 2:27. Billie has a pair of
runs under 2:26. Combs has a better top time than Billie and has put together her best
two runs in her last two meets. Davis has the next best top time and the next best series.
Moran on has the 9th best top time, but I have trouble leaving her out.

1600 M	1. Sydney Smith	Buffalo
	2. Ella Hesson Williamstown
	3. Madi Michels	Buffalo
	4. McKenzie Moran	St. Joseph
	5. Aubrey Custer	Charleston Catholic
	6. Elizabeth Rushworth	Charleston Catholic
Smith has the top time in the field by over 7 seconds and has three runs better than anyone
else's best. She's also the defending champion. Hessonhas a pair of runs under 5:30 and
was runner-up last year. Michels has a better top time than Hesson and was 3rd last year,
when all three went under 5:17. Moran had a nice run in late April and is always one I
consider dangerous. Custer is recovering from a mid-season swoon. She ran a 5:32 early in
the season, but hasn't been under 5:42 since. Rushworth is one of just four in the field
with four runs under 5:45.

3200 M	1. Ella Hesson Williamstown
	2. Madi Michels	Buffalo
	3. Sydney Smith	Buffalo
	4. Aubrey Custer	Charleston Catholic
	5. Elizabeth Rushworth	Charleston Catholic
	6. Jessy Higgins	St. Marys
Hesson has the top time in the field and four runs under 11:50. Michels has a top time less
than 2 seconds off Hesson and has three runs under 11:42. Smith has only done the event one
time, and that was at the Regional. I think she just went along for the ride there. Custer
had a nice sub-11:50 run back in March at least one really, really strong indoor 2 mile, but
as mentioned before, she's bouncing back from a mid-season letdown. She might have enough
in there to get Smith, but I don't think she gets to the other two. Rushworth has a pair
of runs better than what Smith did at the Regional and three total under 12:30. Higgins
has the next best top time and three runs under 12:40.

100 HH	1. Shawnee Jenkins	South Harrison
	2. Hailey Carreon	Clay-Battelle
	3. Laila Calhoun	Pocahontas
	4. Olivia Cress	Ritchie
	5. Addison Ammons	Clay-Battelle
	6. Aaliyah Brunny	Parkersburg Catholic
Jenkins has her two best runs of the season at the regional and is the defending champion.
Carreon was right on her heels at the regional. Calhoun has the top time in the field and
ran two outstanding races at the Gazette Relays. Cress only has the 5th best top time in
the field and has five runs between 16.59 and 16.71 and has rarely been beaten. Ammons had
a pair of strong runs at her regional. Brunny has the next best top time and the next best
series.

300 LH	1. Mills Mullen	Charleston Catholic
	2. Aaliyah Brunny	Parkersburg Catholic
	3. Kaylie Laskody	Trinity
	4. Abi Haught Ritchie
	5. Jillian King	Buffalo
	6. Laila Calhoun	Pocahontas
Mullen has the top time in the field and three runs under 49, but three of her top five funs
came in March. Brunny has the next best time and next best series and had the top regional
time. Laskody has the next best time and series and had the second best regional run. Haught
has the next best top time and series and was on her way to the win last year when she went
down over the last hurdle. King has three runs under 50. Calhoun has a better top time than
King but doesn't quite match the series.

4x100 M	1. Doddridge
	2. Wheeling Central
	3. Williamstown
	4. Paden City
	5. Clay-Battelle
	6. Charleston Catholic
Doddridge has the top time in the field and the best overall series. Wheeling Central will
give them all they can handle with a top time within 0.22 of Doddridge and better 2nd and 3rd
best times. Williamstown slides into the 3rd spot. Their top time is close, but their top
two runs came with Lilly McMullen in the unit. I don't believe she will be for this one.
Paden City has the next best top time and series. Clay-Battelle has the next best top time
and series. Charleston Catholic has the next best top time and series and had a faster regional
run than Clay-Battelle.

4x200 M	1. Williamstown
	2. Wheeling Central
	3. Ritchie
	4. Pocahontas
	5. Paden City
	6. Magnolia
Williamstown has the top time in the field and five runs under 1:50. Wheeling Central went
under 1:50 way back in March. Ritchie went under 1:50 at the LKC meet. Pocahontas is the
only other team to have been have been under 1:52. Paden City has the next best top time and
series of available groups. Magnolia has the next best top time and series.

4x400 M	1. Williamstown
	2. Wheeling Central
	3. Charleston Catholic
	4. St. Marys
	5. Ritchie
	6. Doddridge
Williamstown has the most upward potential. They have a couple things they can do here.
They could opt to go for the State Meet Record, which they've beaten three times this season.
To do that, they'd have to take Lilly McMullen out of the 4x200. I think this is very much
a possibility, but for now, I'm leaving her in the 4x200. They have a choice to make with Ella
Hesson. Add her to this or the 4x800. I think they put her here so that she doesn't have to
crank out an 800 before the 3200 on Friday. They have the depth to conceivably get the record
without either McMullen. Of course, doing so puts the 4x800 at risk. Wheeling Central has
easily the next best time. I have Charleston Catholic being able to match Wheeling Central's
time. St. Marys has the next best time. Ritchie could add Abi Haught to their unit and
challenge St. Marys if they take her out of the 100HH. Doddridge gets a slight nod over
Pocahontas for the final spot.

4x800 M	1. Williamstown
	2. Charleston Catholic
	3. St. Marys
	4. Madonna
	5. Pocahontas
	6. Ritchie
If Williamstown runs Hesson on this, I think they win it easy. If they don't, and that's
what I have, I still give them the nod, but I think it gets pretty close. Charleston Catholic
actually has everyone back from their 10:08 group from a year ago. St. Marys has a fair amount
of upward potential from their group. Madonna has been almost 10 seconds faster than St. Marys,
but I think that's all they have. Pocahontas has some upward potential as well and could
fit into that fight. Ritchie meets that criteria as well.

Shuttle	1. Ritchie
	2. Clay-Battelle
	3. Pocahontas
	4. Doddridge
	5. Williamstown
	6. South Harrison
Ritchie has the top time and is the only team with a pair of runs under 1:09. They have at
least five runs under 1:10. Clay-Battelle is the only other team to have gone under 1:09,
and they have four runs under 1:10. Pocahontas has the next best top time time and overall
series. Doddridge has gone under 1:11 and has two others under 1:11.3. Williamstown has
three runs under 1:12. South Harrison has a run under 1:10 and two others under 1:11. Those
had Aiyana Morris on them. She did not compete at the regional. I don't know the circumstances
of her absence. If she's available, I'd slot them into 4th. If she's not, they probably
don't place. So I split the difference and put them in 6th.

H Jump	1. Olivia Cress	Ritchie

	4. Cameron Smith	Doddridge
	5. Emily Lancaster	Tyler Consolidated

Talkington has three vaults that exceed the existing State Meet Record and at least two
others that match it. That's five vaults of at least 11'3. No one else has gone higher
than 10'6. Ammons has a 10'6 and at least three others of at least 10'0. Haught has four
10'0 vaults. Smith has at least five 9'0 vaults. Lancaster popped a 10'0 vault at her

Winters has five throws over 37'. No one else has thit that mark. O'Leary has a pair of
36' and at least three others over 34'. Arnold have five throws over 34' and actually beats
O'Leary on throws three through five. Pilant has three throws over 34'. Petrovsky has four
throws over 32', but only the 7th best top throw. Martin has a 33' throw and a 32' throw.

	2. Mady Winters	Magnolia
	3. Kennedy Martin	Madonna
	4. Alexis Petrovsky	Wirt
	5. Beth Arnold Williamstown
	6. Shellei Baughman	South Harrison
Pilant has three throws over 118' and at least five of 114'. Winters also has five of at
least 114' and four over 115' (which Pilant can't say). Martin has a 117' throw and three
over 110' and five of 107' or more. Petrovsky threw 112' in her regional, but only has three
100' throws on the season, but she tends to perform well at the State Meet. Arnold has five
throws of 105' or more. Baughman has three over 104' and five over 101'.
