Doddridge's Craig Kellar and Hurricane's Eric Cooper were named the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Coaches of the Year for the 2018 Track Season. Kellar's Bulldogs ran away with the Class A title with a 21 point win while Cooper's Redskins scored a narrow win in a closely contested Class AAA battle that saw the top 4 teams within 10 points of each other.
