Hope this finds you doing well. Just wanted to send out an update on our meet at Hurricane High this Saturday. As I'm sure you know, the weather is looking cold and snowy Saturday. They are now calling for a mix of rain and snow Friday night, which in my opinion, is worse than just snow. Our meet will remain on Saturday, and as of now, the meet is still on. The only way I see it being cancelled is if we are truly looking at snow accumulation. Right now, depending on what you look at, I'm seeing a predicted 1-3" or 3-5" and, in this area, doesn't happen most of the time. I have reached out to meteorologists in the area, and will continue to do so, so they can keep me updated on the forecast. The athletes' health and safety will remain a top priority heading into the weekend. So as of now, we are on for Saturday but will keep you updated.
