Winfield's Aaron Withrow competed Thursday night at the Festival of Miles in St. Louis. He competed in the High School Boys Elite Development Mile, finishing 8th in the event with a time of 4:21.50 for the true mile.

Also of note in this meet, competing in the St. Louis Track Club men's mile was former Jefferson standout Brandon Doughty, who finished 10th in his race and just missed breaking 4:00 for the mile with a 4:00.58.
