Dear Coaches:

            This is your information letter on the 2018 First Annual Pete Bowie Invitational sponsored by MVB. The meet will be held on Saturday April 28th, 2018 at the RCB Track and Field Complex (1 Eagle Way, Clarksburg WV 26301).

Time:  First call for field events (Boys:  Pole Vault, Long Jump, & Discus; Girls:  High Jump & Shot Put) will be at 9:45 AM. First call for running events will be at 10:15 AM. The meet will follow WVSSAC one-session schedule subject to change to a two-session meet dependent on number of teams attending. Coaches meeting will be held at start/finish at 9:30 AM

Awards:  Trophies will be given to the top 3 teams and as well as high point boy and girl.  Ribbons will be awarded to placers 1 – 6 in all events.

Entry Fee:  $60 per team ($110 total for boys and girls).  Make checks payable to RCB Athletics. (Please memo “TRACK”)

Entry Deadline: Hy-Tek entries need to be e-mailed to abbw10@gmail.com by Wednesday, April 25, 2018.  The event file that is needed will be posted on www.runwv.com.  

Entries:  Teams will be permitted to enter 4 individuals per individual event and 1 relay team per relay event.  

Scratches:  Please email your scratches and replacements to abbw10@gmail.com by 5:00 PM Friday April 27^th, 2018. Last minute scratches and replacements will also be accepted until 9:15 AM in the press box. Please make every effort possible to have your entries completed by 5:00 PM Friday April 27^th, 2018. On the morning of the meet teams will only be permitted to scratch or replace athletes. (NO ATHLETE ADDITIONS)

Miscellaneous:  Concessions will be available for the duration of the meet. Event T-shirts will be sold by OnPointAthletics. Field house restrooms will be available for changing. *Not responsible for lost or stolen items left in field house. Starting blocks will be provided.  The longest spikes allowed on our track are ¼ inch. Coaches will be provided complimentary meal and hospitality room.
