Winfield Middle School is excited to
announce the 5th Annual Winfield MS Classic on Thursday, April 13th at Winfield
High School.
Schedule: We
will follow the order of events for middle school competition as set forth in
the 2016 Interscholastic. This will be
on a rolling schedule under a “one session” format. Field events will start immediately following
the scratch/coaches meeting at 4:30, with running events beginning at
approximately 5:15. All times are final.
We will take a 30 minute break following
the completion of the 400 meter dash. A
meal will be provided to all coaches/officials at that time.
Awards: Team
trophies for Champions and Runners Up in both boys and girls division
Individual
medal for race winners. Ribbons for 2nd
through 6th places in both boys and girls events. High Point Award for both boys and
girls competition.
Entries: Each
team may enter 3 athletes per event and 1 relay team. Please follow the 4 events total/no more than 3 running events restriction for each athlete. Only the top 2 athletes from each team per
event will be eligible to score. You may
substitute, but not add. Please submit
all entries via Hy-Tek. Event file will be posted on www.runwv.com or emailed at your request. Send entry file to Coach Fisher at trackcoachfish@yahoo.com, as well as pat@tristateracer.com.
Scratches: Please
submit scratches by Noon or earlier the day of the meet.
Deadline: Hy-Tek submissions MUST
be used and are due NO LATER
THAN NOON on Wednesday, April 12th.
Entry Fee: Make
checks payable to Winfield Middle School and must be submitted prior to the day
of the meet.
$40 per Varsity
Team or $75 per school (boys and girls team together)
$25 per each
additional JV team (B and/or C teams; boys OR girls)
