Times:             4:00 p.m. pick up packets in the press box

(Please make every effort to fax your scratches to us by Monday afternoon!)

4:30 p.m. field events begin

4:45 p.m. running events begin

 

 

Coaches Deadlines:

                        Please email your Hy-Tek event file to jmyer@k12.wv.us no later than April 28.

                        We would greatly appreciate it if you could mail your entry fee to us no later than Friday, April 28th. However, entry fees may be hand delivered the day of the meet. 

 

                        Scratches are due by 2:00 on Tuesday, May 2nd. Fax them to TCHS at: 304-758-9006, Attn. Coach Jake Myer.

 

You may also email them to me at the above address. (Please do not email them to me Wednesday morning and expect me to have them in time for the meet.) Please call to confirm that we received your faxed or emailed scratches.

 

Last minute scratches will be accepted the day of the meet but please keep these to a minimum, (and none after 12:00 p.m.)

 

Entry Fee:      $50.00 per team or $100.00 per school for both boys and girls teams

 

Entries:           3 athletes per event maximum, 4 events per athlete

 

Awards:         Ribbons for First through Sixth places

                                    Team plaques for 1st- 3rd places

                         

Teams:            We will be limiting the teams to 7 this year, if you are interested, please contact me ASAP.

 

Field Events:  3 attempts in the shot put, discus, and long jump, finals to follow.

                        Use your own implements. All implements are subject to inspection.

                        Each pole vault contestant must have the required form with proper signatures. Please use the WVSSAC pole vault weight verification form. All pole vault contestants must hand this completed form to the official at the event prior to participating. Call if you need one.

 

Running events:

                        This is a one session meet       

                                   

Equipment:    ¼” Pyramid spikes on the track and runways only! (Not in the stands!)

                        ½ Tennis balls may be used on the track during relays. Adhesive tape may only be used to mark in the high jump pit area only.

 

Please contact our Athletic Director, Ryan Walton, or myself ASAP if you plan to attend.

 

Do not assume that you are on our list simply because you attended last year. We have a limited amount of space and it will be on a first come first served basis.

 

You must also provide us with the following information:

·         School name

·         Coaches names

·         Phone/Fax numbers

·         Email addresses.
