SAHS “Let’s Move” Middle School Invitational

The SAHS “Let’s Move” Middle School Invitational is a middle school track meet held yearly at Laidley Field/UC Stadium.  This meet is held as a fundraiser for the Fitness classes at SAHS.  This will be the fifth year this meet has been held to support this initiative and has had a tremendous impact on the fitness and physical education programs at the school.   Please consider attending this highly competitive event.  Below you will find information concerning the meet.

 

When:  Tuesday March 28th, 2017

Where:  Laidley Field/UC Stadium Charleston, WV

Start Time:  4:30.  Scratches due to official’s shack prior to 4:30.

Team Entries: The field will be limited to 10 teams.  E-mail the meet director to commit to the meet at mscarbro@mail.kana.k12.wv.us

Team Event Registration:  A Hy-tek event file will be e-mailed to participating schools 7-10 days prior to the meet.  Please send the completed file to both mscarbro@mail.kana.k12.wv.us and mcavender@mail.kana.k12.wv.us

Please send this file to the identified contacts 2-3 days prior to the meet.

Awards:  Trophies for 1st and 2nd place boys and girls teams.  Plagues/trophies for boy and girl high point champion.  Medals for 1st place finishers.  Ribbons for 2nd-6th place finishers.

Entry Fees:              $75.00 for “A” teams. (Fee covers your boys and girls “A” Teams.)

$20.00 for each additional “B” or “C” teams.  (Example:  If you bring only a “B” boys team then the additional fee is $20.  If you bring both a “B” boys and girls team, then the fee is $40.  If you bring both a “B” boys and girls team and a boys “C” team, then the fee is $60.)

Meal:  A meal will be served for track officials and team coaches only.  This meal will be served during intermission of the meet in the Stonewall locker room.
