Capital's Tristan Slater has been named the 2016 Ray McCoy Award winner for the Boys Division.

Slater capped a stellar career with his 4th State Title in the Pole Vault. During 2016, he set an All-Time West Virginia High School mark with a vault of 17'1 at an indoor meet at Marshall Unviersity.
