That Hedgesville comes in as the favorite isn't a surprise, but the margin was a bit
of a surprise to me. I did not anticipate a 26 point margin. Realistically, I don't
think anyone but Hedgesville and Woodrow Wilson has a chance to win. But, then again,
two years ago I had Martinsburg 9th and they won it. But it only took 55 points to
win that year. I don't think 55 will do the trick this year. The race for 3rd is
incredibly tight, though, with 3rd through 9th separated by just 5 points, and 10th
just 3 behind that.

This one should be pretty close. I have a 5 point margin. As in Class A, Ripley is pretty
close to being topped out with 8 1st place finishes making up 80 of their 84 points. They
have little room for grabbing additional points. Conversely, Morgantown with just 3 first
place finishes and 9 others predicted placers that could potentially move up. It won't be
a surprise at all if Morgantown wins the whole thing. There is a significant gap back to
3rd, but then just 4 points separate 3rd from 8th.

Winfield is a fairly solid favorite, but at the same time, a couple things go right
for Bridgeport or wrong for Winfield, and we have a really close matchup. It's unlikely
for anyone else to truly be a threat to these two. Berkeley Springs and Keyser are
likely to battle for 3rd with East Fairmont wiating in the wings.

I don't remember ever seeing two teams dominate the landscape the way Winfield and
Bridgeport do this year. I have them combining to score over half the points in the
meet. They combine to place at least 2 in every event except for the Shot Put and
Discus. I have them going 1-2 in every relay. Ultimately, it looks like Winfield
has a little more depth, and I have them taking the 22 point win. I have 98 points
separating 2nd and 3rd. You would have to combine the next five teams to match
Winfield's point total. The fight for 3rd should be close as I have four teams with
four points of each other.

This one should be pretty close. I have Williamstown winning by 11, but it could
go either way. It seems as I went through that Williamstown got the benefit of the
doubt frequently. Doddridge looks pretty solidly in 3rd, but a lot would have to
happen for them to contend for a podium spot. The next 3 spots are pretty close.

This should be a great battle with each of the top 5 having a very legitimate
possibility of winning it all. Wheeling Central is relatively topped out with
6 event wins and a 2nd place making up 68 of their points. The others all have
some upward potential. Any other team cracking the top five than these would
be a major surprise.
