100 M 1. Kenadee Wayt Wheeling Central
2. Lea Colantonio Madonna
3. Colleena Burdock Union
4. Jonna Ferrell Doddridge
5. Marissa Cottrill St. Marys
6. Bailey Estep Magnolia
Wayt easily has the best series in the group. The's the only one with more than
two runs under 13 seconds, and she has four of 12.81 or better. However, Colantonio
just beat her at the Regional meet. Burdock nearly won the event last year with a
very similar resume. Ferrell has four runs under 13.05. Cottrill has been coming
on strong late in the season. Estep has four runs of 13.30 or better. 8 in the
field have been under 13.30 and 12 have been under 13.50.
200 M 1. Colleena Burdock Union
2. Kenadee Wayt Wheeling Central
3. Alexis Saunders Parkersburg Catholic
4. McKenzie Newton Doddridge
5. Sydney Moore Tucker
6. Jillian King Buffalo
Wayt again has the best series, but this time I'm going with Burdock. As with the
100, she had a similar resume last year and nearly went under 26 seconds. Saunders
is starting to roll again after a mid-season injury. Newton has a better top time
and a better series than Saunders. Moore was right on Newton's heels at the Regional
and has the next best series. King has a better top time than Moore. 8 have been
27.50 or better. 10 have been under 28.00.
400 M 1. Nikki Nolte Wheeling Central
2. McKenzie Moran St. Joseph
3. Stephanie Kirk Ritchie
4. Jillian King Buffalo
5. Sydney Moore Tucker
6. Nicole Billie Wheeling Central
Nolte is the defending champion and has the best series in the group. Moran has
the best top time. Kirk has a better series than Moran, but is almost a full second
behind on best times. King has a pair of runs under 62 seconds. Moore has a par
under 62.50. Billied hasn't been under 1:03, but has the next best series in the group.
5 in the field have been under 1:02. 8 have been under 1:04.
800 M 1. McKenzie Moran St. Joseph
2. Sydney Smith Buffalo
3. Jordan Delaney Magnolia
4. Madison Frame Richwood
5. Ireland Wayt Wheeling Central
6. Bojena Gross St. Joseph
Moran has the best time in the field by nearly 2 seconds. She has more speed than
anyone else in the field and is the A-AA Cross Country Champion. Smith has 3 runs
under 2:30. Delaney has 3 runs under 2:32. Frame is one of just 3 to have been under
2:30. Wayt only has the 7th best top time but does have 3 runs under 2:34 and
was 4th last year. Gross has only ran the open 3 times and has gotten faster each
time. 9 in the field have been under 2:33.
1600 M 1. Jordan Delaney Magnolia
2. McKenzie Moran St. Joseph
3. Madison Frame Richwood
4. Bojena Gross St. Joseph
5. Madi Michels Buffalo
6. Kasey McNamara Williamstown
Delaney has the best time, the best series, and is the defending champion. Moran
is the only other one to have gone under 5:30. She's only done the event twice that
I've seen, and she'll be coming off the 400 earlier that morning. That is a tough
double. We'll see if she can pull it off. Frame has the 2nd best time in the field
and the 2nd best series. Like Moran, Gross has only done the event twice but went
5:32 at the Regional. Michels is one of just 3 in the field with more than one run
under 5:40, and she was 3rd last year. McNamara has a better top time than Michels
and just beat her soundly at the Regional. 7 in the field have been under 5:40.
12 have been under 5:48.
3200 M 1. Jordan Delaney Magnolia
2. Madi Michels Buffalo
3. Madison Frame Richwood
4. Kasey McNamara Williamstown
5. Caitlin Cowell Richwood
6. Desirae Schoonover Doddridge
Delaney is the only one to have been under 12:00, and she crushed that with an 11:33,
and she's the defending champion. Michels has the 2nd best time and the 2nd best
series and was 2nd last year. Frame has the next best series. McNamara has a better
top time than Frame. Cowell has a pair of strong runs. Schoonover has a better top
time and better series than Cowell, but her four best runs came mid-April or earlier.
9 in the field have been under 12:45.
100 HH 1. Samantha Kirk Ritchie
2. Rosa Plaugher Doddridge
3. Ellie Gardner Williamstown
4. Elizabeth Nichols Tucker
5. Kacey Evans South Harrison
6. Hailey Carreon Clay-Battelle
Kirk has the to time and the best series with 5 runs under 15.90. Plaugher has
the 2nd best time and a pair of runs under 16 seconds, and owns some head-to-head
wins over Kirk this season. Gardner has a top time just behind Plaugher's, but
injury kept her out of the event for nearly a month. Nicholas has three runs under
16.30. Evans only has FAT clockings at the Regional Meet, but they were both strong.
Carreon has better top time and series than Evans, but Evans did just beat her at
the Regional. 7 in the field have been under 17 seconds. 13 have been under 17.15.
300 LH 1. Samantha Kirk Ritchie
2. Abby Charles Doddridge
3. Alexis Saunders Parkersburg Catholic
4. Ellie Gardner Williamstown
5. Mills Mullen Charleston Catholic
6. Kristen Massey Magnolia
Kirk has been under 47 seconds four times while no one else has cracked that mark.
Charles has the next best time in the field by just over a second and has four runs
under 48 seconds. Saunders has a pair of runs under 49 seconds with the most recent
being just over 48. Gardner ran under 48.30 early in the season, but as noted earlier,
injury kept her out of the event for quite a while. She's only ran the event twice.
Mullen has a pair of runs under 49. Massey is the only other one to have been
under 49 and hsa 4 runs under 49.50. 8 have been under 50. 12 have been under 50.50.
4x100 M 1. Wheeling Central
2. Ritchie
3. Doddridge
4. Williamstown
5. Charleston Catholic
6. St. Marys
Wheeling Central has the top time and the best series. Ritchie was just 0.05 off
of them at the Regional. Doddridge has a better series than Ritchie and beat them
at the LKC meet and beat Wheeling Central at the Fenton Relays. Those three have
been under 52 seconds. Williamstown is the only other team to have been under 53
seconds. Charleston Cahtolic has the next best top time and next best series.
St. Marys has a pair of runs under 54 seconds. 8 teams have been under 54 seconds.
4x200 M 1. Wheeling Central
2. Doddridge
3. Ritchie
4. Williamstown
5. Magnolia
6. Charleston Catholic
I'm giving Wheeling Central the nod here. I think they make a lineup change back
to their 1:49 unit. No one else has gone there, and they've done it 3 times. Doddridge
has a pair of runs under 1:51, as does Ritchie. Williamstown is the only other team
to have been under 1:52. Magnolia is the only other team to have been under 1:53.
There is a 1.7 second gap back to the rest of the field. Charleston Catholic hsa
a pair of runs under 1:55. 8 in the field have been under 1:54.50.
4x400 M 1. Wheeling Central
2. Ritchie
3. Magnolia
4. Buffalo
5. Madonna
6. Doddridge
I go on potential for the 4x400 and 4x800 moreso than the other events. I think
Wheeling Central can get down close to 4:10, and Ritchie can get close. I have
Magnolia in the 4:15 range. I think Buffalo can go 4:18. I have Doddridge and
Williamstown both with better potential than Madonna, but I think that may be due
largely to simply having more familiarity with them. So, I've given the 5th spot
to Madonna because they've done and the other two haven't. Doddridge gets the nod
over Williamstown. I have 9 teams that I think can go 4:27 or better.
4x800 M 1. Wheeling Central
2. St. Joseph
3. Buffalo
4. Charleston Catholic
5. Doddridge
6. Williamstown
I have Wheeling Central going under 10:15. I think St. Joseph can go under 10:20.
It doesn't look like anyone else can get close to them. I have Buffalo climbing up
to 3rd. I think they pull Smith from the 100HH and move her onto this relay, and
that's a big difference. I have the next 8 teams within 14 seconds of each other.
I went with Charleston Catholic for 4th. Doddridge gets the nod for 5th. Williamstown
takes the 6th position.
Shuttle 1. Doddridge
2. Williamstown
3. South Harrison
4. Tucker
5. Clay-Battelle
6. St. Marys
Doddridge has the top time in the field by over 2 seconds and has five runs under
1:07.60. Williamstown has the next best time in the field, but they can only run
that if they add Gardner to the lineup. I think they do. South Harrison is the
only other team to have been under 1:09. Tucker is the only other one to have been under
1:10. Clay-Battelle and St. Marys have been under 1:12.
H Jump 1. Colleena Burdock Union
2. Bailey Estep Magnolia
3. Victoria Buckley Williamstown
4. Mista Smarr Doddridge
5. Jordan Rothwell Charleston Catholic
6. Alayna Cline Magnolia
Burdock has the top jump in the field with a 5'6 and has a pair of 5'4 jumps to
go with it, and she won the event last year. Estep has three 5'4 jumps. Buckley
has three 5'2 jumps. Smarr has a 5'2 and at least four 5'0 jumps. Rothwell has
a full series of 5'0 jumps and was 2nd last year. Cline cleared 5'0 at her Regional
as did Sophie Palmer. I gave the spot to Cline on a slightly better overall series.
7 have cleared 5'0, and 10 have cleared 4'10. Clean jumping will make a big difference.
P Vault 1. Ellie Gardner Williamstown
2. Abi Haught Ritchie
3. Emily Lancaster Tyler Consolidated
4. Sarah Cokeley Ritchie
5. Addison Ammons Clay-Battelle
6. Cameron Smith Doddridge
Gardner has a pair of 12'0 vaults to her credit. She has four of 11'6 or better.
No one else has been higher than 9'6. She may not start vaulting until everyone
else has finished. Haught has four 9'6 vaults. Lancaster cleared 9'6 at the Regional,
but that's her only performance over 8'0. Cokeley has 3 vaults of 8'6. Ammons
and Smith have the same series, a pair of 8'6 vaults and three 8'0 vaults. They both
cleared 8'6 at the Regional with Ammons finishing higher on misses, so she gets the
5th spot and Smith the 6th. 8 in the field have cleared 8'6 at least once. 11 have
cleared 8'0.
L Jump 1. Colleena Burdock Union
2. Bailey Estep Magnolia
3. Jonna Ferrell Doddridge
4. Alexis Saunders Parkersburg Catholic
5. Sydney Moore Tucker
6. McKenzie Newton Doddridge
Again, Burdock is the defending champion, and she had the best Regional jump in the
field. Estep is the only one in the field to have gone 17'0. Ferrell has a pair
of jumps over 16'6 and four of at least 15'8. Saunders has a 16'0 jump and was
3rd last year. Moore has a 16'0 jumps and four of at least 15'8, and she was 4th
last year. Newton has four jumps of at least 15'7. 9 in the field have jumped
at least 15'5. 11 have topped 15'0.

Wright has the top throw in the field by over a foot and has five throws of at least

a better top throw than Arnold and has three over 35'0. Bolyard has three over

Discus 1. Sada Wright Gilmer
2. Kinzy Martin Summers
3. Whitney Jemison St. Marys
4. Brianna Kendall Williamstown
5. Kyndra Pilant Magnolia
6. Sydney Palmer Williamstown
Wright has the top throw in the field by over 20'0. Her 5th best throw is over
13'0 better than anyone else's best. Martin has the 2nd best throw and 2nd best
series. Jemison has the next best throw and the next best series. Kendall has the
next best throw and the next best series. Those four are the only ones with five
throws of 100'0 or better. Pilant has the next best throw and has 3 over 100'0, those
coming in her last three meets. Palmer has the next best throw and a better overall
series than Pilant. 9 in the field have thrown over 100'0, and 13 have thrown
at least 95'0.
