Ripley Middle School Invitational

 

Where: Ripley High School Track

 

When: Saturday, April 23, 2016

 

Time: Coaches Meeting at 9:30 a.m.

          Field Events will start at 10:00 a.m.

          Running Events will start at 11:30 a.m.

 

Awards: Medals for 1st-3rd, ribbons for 4th-6th place

               High point award for girls and boys

               Team Champion and Runner -up trophy

 

 

Entry Fee: $50 per team (total $100 for girls and boys) Make Checks payable to Ripley Middle School (must be paid prior to meet unless arrangements have been made) There will be an additional cost of $25 dollars for any JV team (B/C teams).

 

Entries: Each team may enter up to 3 athletes per event and one relay team per school. Please follow the no more than 4 events/ no more than 3 running events restriction for each athlete .The event file will be posted on Run WV. All Hy-Tek submissions must be used and are due no later than 8:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2016.  All Entry files are to be emailed to Pat@TriStateRacer.com. Submissions will not be accepted on the day of the meet.

 

Schedule:  We will follow the order of events for middle school competition as set forth in the 2016 Interscholastic. This will be on a rolling schedule under a “one session” format. Field events will start immediately following the scratch/coaches meeting at 9:30 a.m. with running events starting at approximately 11:30 a.m. All times are final. There will be 3 throws per athlete in the shot and discus, as well as three jumps per athlete in the long jump. The pole vault will also consist of 3 jumps per athlete.  There will not be a formal break, but food and drink will be provided for all officials and workers.
