Re: Region I AA Track Meet

The Region I Class AA Track Meet will be held at Oak Glen High School on Friday May 13, 2016. The meet will begin with a coaches meeting at 3:45 pm. Scratches must be submitted prior to this time.

Field events will begin at 4:00 pm with the First Session: Boys Discus, Girls Shot Put, Boys Long Jump, Girls High Jump, and Boys Pole Vault.

Starting heights are as follows set by the WVSSAC: Boys Pole Vault (9’0”) Girls Pole Vault (7’0”)

Boys High Jump (5’6”) Girl High Jump (4’6”)

Running events will begin at 5:00 pm with the order of events for a two-session meet as listed in the February issue of The Interscholastic.

 Entries: All entries must be submitted by email through Hy-Tek’s Team manager Lite to Pat Riley at Pat@TriStateRacer.com. Please include “Region 1 AA – Team Name” in the subject of the email. All entries are due no later than 8:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13.

Entries are limited to 3 athletes per individual event and 1 team per relay event. (Remember to add your alternates so that they can get a participant number at the State Meet.)

Coaches are reminded that all seed times must come from actual FAT performances from the 2016 season and must be verifiable. Anticipated times will not be accepted.
