Little Kanawha Conference Information
COACHES
Packets will be available
starting at 3:00 in the wrestling room located just past the concession stand.
Coaches meeting will be in the same room.
Scratches need to be
completed by 3:30. No changes will be made after the meet has started.
Coaches meeting will be at 3:30.
Only competing athletes,
coaches, officials, and event workers are allowed inside the fenced and caution
areas.
Following
their event athletes need to collect their belongings and leave the competition
areas and return to the bleachers.
Teams and tents must be set
up on the visitor’s side of the field. Either in the visitor’s bleachers
or area around them. The press box side bleachers are for spectators, not
athletes.
No spikes are to worn in
the bleachers.
No electronic devices are
permitted in the competition areas.
No climbing or jumping the
fences.
Tape is not permitted on
the track or runways. Non-adhesive markers may be used.
Athletes will enter the
track at the gate on the home side near the concession stand.
The bullpen will be located
on the field near the track entry gate and concession stand.
All results will be posted
near the concession stand.
Buses will need to drop
teams at the entrance to the stadium. Bus parking will be on the other side of
the school opposite of the stadium. Parking directions will be provided to
drivers at drop area.
Due
to the end of the school day, Roane County High School campus, parking lots,
and gate will not be open to the public, parents, or spectators until 3:30pm.
This will be strictly enforced.
Shot is located near the
visitor bleachers and the discus is located over the hill.
T-shirts will be available
near the concession stand.
Restrooms are located at
the concession stand.
Blocks
The Hospitality Room is for Coaches, Officials
and Meet Workers. It will be in the High School Cafeteria following the
400m dash.
All rules, including
uniform rules, will be strictly enforced.
Athletes
Athletes
will not jump the fences. They must enter the gate near the concession stand.
Athletes
need to report to the bullpen when their event is called, not earlier.
If an
athlete must leave a field event for a running event, they must check out with
the official and return as soon as possible when their running event completes.
Athletes
must pay attention and listen to all instructions from meet officials.
Following
their event athletes need to collect their belongings and leave the competition
areas and return to the bleachers.
Athletes
must be quiet and respectful in the bullpen.
T-shirts
will be available near the concession stand.
Tape is
not permitted on any of the rubberized surfaces. Non-adhesive markers may
be used.
Blocks
will be available to use or you may use your own blocks.
Parents
Due
to the end of the school day, Roane County High School campus, parking lots,
and gate will not be open to the public, parents, or spectators until 3:30pm.
This will be strictly enforced.
Remind
your parents that parking is available in the lots in front of the school and
on each side of the school. Handi-cap parking is
available for those with a handi-cap permit only will
be able to park at the stadium behind the bleachers by the baseball field.
Admission
is $5.00 per
person.
Parent
tents are allowed on the home side bleachers only. Tent areas will be marked
and that area will be enforced. All spectators must enter the facility at the
stadium entrance.
Spectators
are not allowed in the fenced or caution taped areas.
