Track Coaches

 

RE:  Star USA FCU Middle School Invitational

 

It is our privilege to extend to you an invitation to participate in the Star USA FCU Middle School Invitational Track Meet.  The Meet will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Laidley Field in Charleston, West Virginia.

 

Awards:          Team trophies for 1st and 2nd place teams

Individual Ribbons for 1st place – 6th place.

                        High point trophy for boys and girls.

 

Entries:           Hy-tek Team Lite will be utilized for meet entries.  The event file will be emailed to you once your request to participate has been confirmed.  You may enter three contestants in each event.  You may only scratch and substitute on meet day.  No Additions.  The deadline for entries is Monday, May 4, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.  Send entry files to Marshall Cavender at mecavender81@suddenlink.net.

 

Time Schedule:          Order of Events will follow the “One Session” format as listed in the WVSSAC interscholastic.  This will be a rolling time schedule.  The track meet will begin at 4:30 p.m.

 

Regulations for Laidley Field:

 

  1. ¼” spikes required, NO SPIKES IN THE BLEACHERS.  Individuals will be disqualified if violating this rule.

 

  1. No chewing gum on the track or football field.

 

  1. Only Track Participants will be allowed on the track.

 

  1. Tape & tennis ball halves may be used to mark lines for relays. **Please remove promptly.

 

  1. No smoking or tobacco use.

 

Scratches:                   Turn is scratches no later than 4:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. You may email your scratches to Marshall Cavender by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7th.

 

Entry Fee:                  $40.00 per team or $75 for both male/female.  Make check payable to Laidley Field with KVT & FOA on the memo line.
