On June 2nd, a pair of West Virginia athletes went to West Chester, PA to compete in the John Hay Memorial Pennsylvania Distance Festival.

Morgantown's Anthony Laurita and University's Seth Edwards both competed in the 5,000 Meter Run. With both entered at a 16:21 seed time, they crushed that with Laurita taking 3rd and breaking the 15:00 barrier at 14:59.91. Edwards was 5th in 15:03.79.
