Information regarding Doddridge County Middle School 2015 6^th Grade Meet,

held at Cline Stansberry Stadium in West Union, WV

Date: Tuesday, April 28, 2015

Time: Field events (Boys’ Pole Vault, Long Jump, Discus; Girls’ High Jump, Shot Put) will begin at 4:30 p.m. Running events will start around 5:00 p.m.

Awards: Ribbons for places 1-6 (individual and relays); Trophies to top 2 teams; High Point Girl and Boy Awards

Entry Fee: $50.00 per team ($100.00 total for boys and girls) Make checks payable to DCMS Athletics.

Entry Deadline: Hy-Tek entries need to be e-mailed to cmcress2000@yahoo.com by Wednesday, April 22, 2015. The event file that is needed will be posted on www.runwv.com. If you are unfamiliar with Hy-Tek, you can find help at Bridgeport’s Track and Field site: www.bridgeporttrack.com. If you haven’t had a meet yet, please use reasonable estimates when entering your athletes. (Not last year’s PR’s, but what is likely now.) All entries should have a time/distance/height entered.

Entries: A team may enter up to 5 athletes in each field event and up to 4 in each running event. Only 3 athletes per team may place an event. You can only enter 1 relay team per school.

Scratches: Please email your scratches and replacements by Friday, April 24, 2015 to cmcress2000@yahoo.com. Last minute scratches and replacements will also be accepted from 3:00-4:00 pm. at the meet, however, please make every effort to have all scratches and replacements in by Friday, April 24, 2015.

Miscellaneous: The concession stand will be open. Starting blocks will be provided. The longest spikes allowed on our track are ¼ inch. Participants in the throw and long jump will get 4 attempts. This will be a one session meet. T-shirts will be sold for $10.00 each at the concession stand.
