Contingency Plan for Regional Track Meet

Host School: Ritchie County High School

We are monitoring the weather closely in the Ellenboro area to ensure the safety of all of our athletes for the Regional Track meet due to start at 4:00pm on Thursday, May 15, 2014.

We will send an email by 10:00am on Thursday to each of you that will either confirm that we will continue with competition as scheduled, or if we will be moving the event to Friday at 4:00pm. Please monitor your email for updates.

If for some reason, that we must move to Friday, and the weather continues to be too risky to compete, the event will then be held on Saturday @ 10:00am.

At this time, the weather for our areas is predicting 75% rain for most of the day/evening on Thurs; however, as long as storms are not forecasted, we will expect to compete.
