University's Amelia Paladino has been named the 2014 West Virginia Gatorade Female Track & Field Athlete of the Year.

Paladino capped a stellar Senior season with State Championships in the 800, 1600, and 3200. She concludes her high school career with the Best All-Time West Virginia High School performances in all three events with a 2:08.49 in the 800, 4:43.69 in the 1600 (a converted true mile), and a 10:00.42 in the 3200.
