Relays @ Laidley Field
Here is the
info for our High School Relays Meet:
When: Saturday, May 10th, 2014.
Coaches meeting at noon. Field events and 4x1600 will
start at 12:30 pm.
Where: Laidley Field in Charleston, WV.
Laidley Field has an 8 lane all weather track and a
great stadium. It provides a great environment for a track meet. The time and location prior to our regional meets make this meet a
valuable experience for your runners.
Entries: Each team will be allowed two
entries in all events. Only one team per school will score. As always, girls
will precede boys in all running events. Relay teams for field events will
consist of two members. Relay teams for running events will consist of four
members. Event list will be shown below.
Timing: Because this is a nontraditional
track meet, we will hand time the events. All events will be ran
as finals.
Awards: Medals will be awarded to the event
winners. Team champions will be presented plaques.
Concessions: Will be made available by Laidley
Field. Shirts will be sold by Gameday USA.
Fee: $50 per school or $30 if you want to
send only a boys or girls team. This meet is open to the first 24 teams that
pay their fee. Please make checks payable to Wahama High School.
