Middle School Invitational

Coaches: 

            This is your invitation to the NEXT MILE Middle School Invitational at Boyd County High School contested on Saturday, April 13th.  MEET IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 16 SCHOOLS to reserve a spot to phillip.caudill@ashland.kyschools.us.  Our hope is that having unlimited entries in all individual events will allow athletes from all schools the opportunity to compete and set some PR’s!

Entry Fees and Entries:

Team Fee:        $75 (Boys and Girls separate)

If not using HYTEK entry add $10 additional for each team (B/G separate)

Individual Fee:            $10 per athlete

Please list accurate times/performances for your athletes and relays.  HEATS and FLIGHTS ARE DETERMINED BY ENTRIES. SUBMIT ACCURATE TIMES and MARKS.

The entry deadline is 3:00 pm on April 10, 2013.   Hytek entries can be emailed to phillip.caudill@ashland.kyschools.us . Heats and lane assignments will be based on entries as of this deadline.  No school limitation on entries in individual events. Athletes are limited to participation in three events. One relayteam per school in each relay.

Entries will not be entered into the computer until checks are received.  Therefore, all payments are due by April 10th.  NO RACE DAY PAYMENTS!

 

Admission:

Adults $4                    Students $2

Concessions and bathrooms will be available.

 

Amenities:

There will be a coaches lunch provided.  Copy of results at the conclusion of the meet.

 

Awards/Scoring:

Relay and event winners will receive a medal.  Second thru Eighth place will receive a ribbon.

 Team trophies will be awarded to the first, second, and third place teams. 

 Most Outstanding Performance will be given to the top boy and girl performance.

Scoring will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1.  Limited to 3 individuals per school per individual event.  Limited to 1 relay team per school.
