I wanted to let you all know about a new short film about Jacob Burcham, the fastest high-school miler in West Virginia history. Burcham ran 4:02.73 for the mile in 2012 as a junior and is hoping to break 4-flat this year as a senior. Only 5 American high-schoolers have ever broken the 4-minute mile.

Horses + Fire is a profile of Burcham and his effect on the local area of Barboursville/Huntington, WV. It was just released on Friday (15 Feb 2013) for Running Times magazine.
