The Region I Class AA Track Meet will be held at Ritchie County High School on Friday, May 11th. Doddridge County High School is taking care of the entries and both schools will provide meet workers. The meet will begin with a coaches meeting at 3:45 PM. Any final scratches and replacements must be submitted by this time.

WVSSAC website and runwv.com. The site also has informative directions on
the steps necessary in sending your entries in this manner. If you are in need of the Hy-Tek Lite program
you can download it for free from the Hy-Tek site (hy-tekltd.com). If you have questions feel free to contact Josh

Rosters from the WVSSAC website for your team will be printed on Thursday, May 3rd. Check and make any needed updates or corrections on this site as any athlete not on this roster will not be permitted to participate in the Regional Meet on the day of the meet. Take the time to double check the roster on the WVSSAC website.
If a question arises during the scratch meeting regarding an entry time
for an athlete or relay, please have appropriate documentation to prove your
entry time.
If you know that you have changes you would like to make after you send the entries, you can e-mail them to Josh Weekley @ runwv@runwv.com or fax them to 1-775-655-5335 by 11:00 AM, Friday, May 11th. You will still be able to make changes on meet day but it will save the computer operators a lot of time on the day of the meet if we get some of the changes early. **You must use the form provide to send scratches/replacements.
Admission- Adults $6 – Students- $5 as established by WVSSAC. Only WVSSAC passes may be utilized and those individuals must sign in and may be asked for identification. A concession stand will be available throughout the meet.
Shot and Discus implements will be provided. If
you have an implement that is different from what is provided, you
may ask the Head Field Event Judge to approve the implement for use by all
throwers.
Qualifiers: Throws and Jumps – top 8 plus ties to finals
Sprints and Hurdles – Top 7 to finals

The track venue will consist of the area inside of the fence
that runs outside of the track.
Restricted Areas: No coaches or support personnel are permitted
inside the venues that are not working in an official capacity of
the meet during the 2nd
session. All athletes in this area
must be in a school-issued track uniform and are participating in an event that
has been called. Electronic devices are
prohibited inside the venue. The removal
of uniform inside of the venue is illegal.
Pole Vault Certification Forms must be presented to the pole vault judge prior to the event. Coaches may locate inside the
track venue during the vault competition.
