Region I - Class AAA Information

Dear Athletic Directors and Coaches,

Attached is the performance list for tomorrow's Region I AAA Championship. If there are any errors, please let us know immediately.

Coaches are reminded that all seed times must come from actual performances during the 2011 season and must be verifiable. Anticipated times will not be accepted. If you feel an athlete or a relay team has an "inflated" time or effort, you may file a protest by emailing me at prestonrun@gmail.com . We will attempt to validate that time, and if we are unsuccessful, we will ask the coach of the protested athlete or relay team to validate the performance. All protests will be kept confidential. We will have wireless internet access in our timing building so it is not necessary to bring printed results of every meet you have attended.

All implements will be checked by meet officials (Dave Hickman and Ron White) to ensure their legality. Scales provided by Wheeling Park High School will be used to weigh the throwing implements. Implements will be checked in the black tent beside the shot put ring. Pole vault poles will be checked by the event judge in the silver and black tent at the end of the pole vault runway.

We will have "unofficial live results" at the following address: www.prestonboe.com/AAA. There will also be a link available on our school athletic department website ( www.PrestonAthletics.com ).

Below is the schedule for the Region I AAA Championship:

3:30 to 4:00 p.m. - Checking of Implements
4:00 p.m. - Coaches Meeting
4:30 p.m. - First Rotation of Field Events (Boys Discus, Girls Shot Put, Boys Long Jump, Girls High Jump, and Boys Pole Vault)
5:00 p.m. - Running Events

Any additions or scratches can be emailed to prestonrun@gmail.com by 12:00 p.m. on May 11th. We look forward to hosting your team at the Region I AAA Championship. Pray for weather like today; 75 degrees, sunny, and absolutely no wind.

Sincerely,

Paul Martin
Meet Director
