Possible Realignment Scenario

I took a few minutes today (and I do mean literally a few minutes) and took a first attempt at a possible Regional Realignment based on the new Classifications. A did not have a map in front of me at the time, and I haven't taken the time to find one since I did this. I also want to specifically state that this isn't what I think will happen. I haven't heard any rumors. This is simply a preliminary look at one possibility.

Class AAA

Region I - This Region loses East Fairmont, Fairmont Senior, and North Marion. I also have Preston moving out. I have Parkersburg, Parkersburg South, and Ripley moving in.

Region II - This Region loses Robert C. Byrd and Bridgeport. I have Preston moving in.

Region III - This Region loses Nicholas County. I have Oak Hill and Shady Spring moving in.

Region IV - This Region loses no one. I have Point Pleasant moving in and Parkersburg, Parkersburg South, and Ripley moving out.

Class AA

Region I - This Region loses Magnolia, Point Pleasant, and Tyler Consolidated. I have Fairmont Senior, East Fairmont, and North Marion moving in.

Region II - This Region loses no one. I think Bridgeport and Robert C. Byrd moving in. I have Petersburg and Philip Barbour moving out.

Region III - This Region loses Greenbrier West, Oak Hill, and Shady Spring. I think Nicholas moves in, and I have Petersburg and Philip Barbour moving in as well.

Region IV - This Region loses Sherman. I don't have anyone else moving in.

Class A

Region I - This Region likely has Magnolia and Tyler Consolidated moving in. I have Doddridge moving out.

Region II - I moved Doddridge into this Region.

Region III - This region likely gains Greenbrier West.

Region IV - This region likely gains Sherman.

Like the possible Cross County Scenario I presented, I'm not crazy about this one either. We still have problems with competitive balance. However, I again remind you that the WVSSAC doesn't worry about competitive balance. I may present another scenario at a later time as there are certainly numerous possibilities, some of which could be very drastic. And I might do better if I take the time to look at a map.
