2011 Harry Green Statewide Middle School Invitational

I have been notified by my principal that there is a scheduling
conflict with the Harry Green Statewide MS Invitational. The Scottish
Heritage Festival held in the
I have been instructed by my principal to either move the date of
the meet or cancel it. To say the least I was not happy. Now that I
have calmed down, my coaches and I would rather not cancel the meet. I
understand that this may interfere with other activities and may cause travel
arrangements to change. I am sorry, but my hands are tied.
The only date we can reschedule the meet is Saturday May
14th. The WVSSAC states that the MS season ends on May 19th. So we
are within your season calendar. I know this is late in the
season for you, but my staff and I are already booked all weekends prior with
the exception of Easter weekend and I am unwilling to move it there.
I need each school planning to attend to either confirm you will
still attend or that you cannot attend on May 14th. If a majority of you
can still attend we will not cancel the meet. Please respond as
soon as possible.
