Christian Buckley of Poca smashed the Russell Blount East Coast Invitational at Duke University in Durham N.C. meet record in the 13-14 men Discus with throw of 164 ft. 7 in. and also finished third in the Shot Put throwing 4’ 3.5”.

Also bringing back Gold Medals are Emily Godwin of Buchannon in women 15-16 High Jump clearing 5’ 7.25”, 13-14 girls Lauren London, Hurricane, Pole Vault Clearing 9’,Sam Thomas of Charleston in the boys 13-14, 3000M run in 10:30.05 and Andrew White of Hurricane in the Men 17-18 Discus throwing 160’ 5”.

Other Striders top ten (10) finishers taking home medals are;

8 & under boys: Kevin Tinsley,Chas. - 7^th 200M in 33.57 &10^th 100M 15.83
