2 Session Meet:                  With coaches meeting starting at 9:30 a.m. field events starting at 10:00 a.m. and running events starting at approximately 10:30.    

            Entry Fee:                            $35.00 per team single entry or $50.00 for both.

                        (payable to Ritchie County Middle School)

 

Entries:                                 Each team may enter 3 individuals per event and 1 relay team. 

                                                No “B” teams will be allowed.

                                                 

Coaches are encouraged to use the Hy-Tek method of e-mailing their entrees. The meet event file will be emailed to you but you can also obtain it from Run WV along with instructions on how to down load it to your computer. HyTek meet manager lite can be down loaded to anyone needing the program. Any questions concerning using this program can be directed to Lucinda McCullough (lmh_101@hotmail.com) also you will send your entries to Lucinda at her email. The entry deadline using the Hy-Tek method will be Wednesday, April 21th by 3:00 PM for coaches using this method of sending entries since there are no typing deadlines on our part to be prepared. Those of you sending it through on the generic entry (see attached), the entry deadline will be Monday, April 19 th by 3:00 PM.

 

Awards:                                Team trophies for the 1st  and 2nd,  place teams.  High point

                                                awards for both boys and girls.  Medals for individual winners. Ribbons given to places two through six in each event, along with all places in the relay events.

 

Scratches:                           Please, fax your changes (using the enclosed form) by 3:00PM on

                                                Friday, April 23, FAX # 869-3519.

                                                This will be the only time you will be allowed to add an athlete Saturday will be scratches only.

                                                 A scratch meeting will be held at 9:30 in the new building located at the finish line to pickup team packets and make any final scratches.

Rules and Regulations

·         The maximum spike length allowed is 3/16" (Will be checked).  Spikes are not permitted in the bleachers.

·         Tape is not permitted on the track.  Markers may be used for jumping events and relays.

·         Use your own shot/discus and batons.  Standard blocks will be provided.

·         The pole vault weight verification form is to be turned in to the pole vault judge before warming up for the event.

·         Team tents may be set up in the bleachers on the finish line side but are asked not to sit at the finish line end of the bleachers.

Extras

·         There will be a hospitality room provided for all coaches in the locker room at the track.
