ENTRY FEE:                           $30 per team, $60.00 for both Boys and Girls team

ENTRY DEADLINE:              All entries must be received by Wednesday April 07, 2010 by 8:00 pm.   Please send me your E-mail address at cameron.perry@glenville.edu  so that I can forward an entry form to you. You will need to E-mail your entries to kreger@peoplepc.com and CC a copy to me. HY-TEK entries will be accepted and the file will be on Run WV. Any substitutions will need to be submitted by 8:00pm on Friday April 09, 2010, please email them to me at cameron.perry@glenville.edu and  kreger@peoplepc.com. Remember that we will be using a fully automated timing system and team scores will be kept.   

 

CHECK-IN:                            Team packets can be picked up in the Jack Woodyard Room at I. L. & Sue Morris Stadium upon arrival.  A brief coaches meeting will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. to discuss meet specifics. NO SCRATCHES AFTER 9:15 a.m.

 

AWARDS:                               Ribbons will be awarded to the top six finishers in each event.  A high point trophy will be given to the top male and female.  Team trophies will be awarded to the Championship and runner-up teams in both boys and girls. Scoring will be 10-8-6-4-2-1.

 

MEET RULES:                        No spikes longer than 1/4 inch will be permitted on the track.  Also, please remind your athletes that track spikes are prohibited on the bleachers.  Boom boxes are forbidden at the stadium. Please do not erect tents in front of press box or start/finish line areas. Entries will be limited to no more than 4 in each event. Discus, Shot Put, and Long Jump will be 3 attempts with top 8 to finals (3 attempts), unless meet reaches appropriate size then it will be 4 attempts no finals. If meet reaches appropriate size the meet will be divided into AAA, AA/A classes. Games Committee will have the right to change any rules before the coaches meeting.

TRAINING

FACILITIES:                           Trainers will be available for the treatment of injuries.  However, we ask that you bring your own tape for dealing with current injuries.  Our trainers will assist in any general taping or injury treatment that needs to be done.

 

COMPLIMENTARY

MEAL FOR COACHES:        All coaches will be given a complimentary meal in the Jack Woodyard Room with a coupon.  Coupons may be obtained from the meet director.  Please let us know how many coaches will be attending.

 

CONCESSION STAND:        A concession stand will be open.
