The winners of the 2008 Ray McCoy Award for Track & Field Athlete of the Year in West Virginia are Sissonville's Eric Myers and Berkeley Springs' Meghan Mock.

Myers set State Meet records in both the Shot Put and the Discus, and also recorded the State's longest ever discus throw for a high school athlete at the Winfield Classic in April.

Mock ended her high school career with 10 individual championships. She owns State Meet records in the 300 Meter Low Hurdles, the High Jump, and the Long Jump. She was also a member of the State Meet record holding 4x800 Meter Relay team.
