Track and Field Invitational

 

 

Dear Coach,

            We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the Fairland Invitational track and field meet.  The meet will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009.  Field events will begin at 5:00pm. Running events will begin at 5:15pm with prelims in the 100 m. dash only.  Followed by the 4 x 800 meter relay, 100/110 hurdle finals, and 100 m. finals.

 

Entry Fee: $50 per team/$90 boys and girls

 

Entry Form:  Due Tuesday, April 14.  Fax entries to 740-886-5125.

 

Track Facility:  We have an all-weather rubberized track, with eight 42 in. lanes.  Starting blocks will be provided.  1/4 inch spikes or smaller only. 

 

Points:  Eight places will count, in all events, with scoring as follows: 

10 – 8 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1

 

Awards: Medals will be given for first place in each event, and ribbons for 2nd – 8th place.  High point award will be given for both boys and girls.  Team trophies will be given for 1st and 2nd places.
