Coaches: 

        This is your invitation to the 6th annual Ernie Chattin Memorial at Ashland Athletic Complex on the campus of Paul G. Blazer High School.  Our track complex features an 8-lane rubberized track with a legal pole vault pit.   All Kentucky high school track and field events will take place.  This meet will have FAT Timing. Therefore, TIMED FINALS in all running events. Please refer to the meet schedule below.

 

Entry Fees and Entries:

Team Fee          $60 handwritten entries  (boys and girls separate) or

                        $50 hytek entries

Individual Fee    $8 per athlete

Please list accurate times/performances for your athletes and relays.

The entry deadline is 3:00 pm  April 21st, 2009.   Entries can be emailed/mailed/faxed to the addresses provided on the entry forms. Heats and lane assignments will be based on entries as of this deadline. Unlimited entries in the 800, 1600, 3200, 4x8, and 4x4. Unlimited entries in shot put, discus, long jump, and triple jump. 

All other events are limited to TWO individuals or ONE relay team.

 

Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

 

Meet T-Shirts:

Short-sleeve meet t-shirts will be on sale the day of the meet for $10.  Meet t-shirts will include the names of all schools competing.

 

Admission:

Adults $4           Students $2

Concessions and bathrooms will be available.

 

Amenities:

There will be a coaches lunch provided.  Each head coach entering a team will receive a meet t-shirt.

 

 

 

 

Awards:

Relay and event winners will receive a trophy.  Second in each event will receive a medal.  Third thru sixth place will receive a ribbon.

 

Team trophies will be awarded to the first, second, and third place teams.  A combined team award will be given to the highest point total accumulated by boys and girls teams from the same school.

 

The Ernie Chattin Memorial Award will be given to the individual with the most outstanding performance.
