PRESS RELEASE: USA Track & Field Indoor Midwest Zone Championships

 

 

USA Track & Field Officials have awarded the 2009 Midwest Zone Indoor Championships to the West Virginia Association of USA Track & Field.The event will be contested on February 15th ,2009 in Morgantown WV. WVU’s indoor track in the Shell Building will be the venue for the event.

 

Athletes from the Dakotas, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia are expected to compete in eight age group categories.

 

West Virginia athletes competing in this event will be recognized in order of finish against other West Virginians as WV USA Track & Field 2009 Indoor Champions. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded.
