FIRST 14 BOYS & 14 GIRLS TEAMS!

ENTRIES; Three (3) individuals from a school in the individual events.
Four
(4) individuals from a school on a relay plus 2 alternates.
NOTE: Remember individuals may not participate in
more than 3 events. Relays will count as one of the athlete’s events.
RELAY CARDS: We realize that names will change on meet day
but do the
best
you can at getting your names right.
Relay cards will be
given
to the clerk as they report on meet day.
ENTRY FEES: $40 for each team. (Boys and Girls Separate)
or
$65 for BOYS and
GIRLS combined or
$15 for each B Team
if you need more events or
$5 per individual(s).

ENTRY FORM: Make sure you list the best performances of
your athletes on the entry form. Putting nothing down for a performance will
have your
athlete in a slow flight or heat.
COACHES – There is a place
on the entry form where I ask that you give me the name of a volunteer to work
at the meet.
Awards: Team awards will be presented to the
top (2) teams and will be presented as soon as possible at the conclusion of
the meet. Individual awards will be medals for 1st, 2nd,
& 3rd place for event winners and ribbons for 4th –8th places in
individual events. Relay awards will be
the same.
Scoring: 10 – 8 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1
Three individuals from a team may score.
General Information: We will stay as
close to the schedule as possible but it will be a rolling schedule so make
sure your athletes know what that means.
COACHES: it is very important that you
acquaint your athletes with track etiquette as this will carry over through the
entire year.
IMPORTANT: THE INFIELD IS OFF LIMITS TO ATHELTES UNLESS THEY ARE COMPETEING IN A FIELD EVENT OR ASK BY AN OFFICAIL TO REPORT FOR AN EVENT!!! SAFETY… SAFETY… SAFTEY… IS OUR PRIMARY CONCERN! WE HOPE TO HAVE A MARSHALL POTROLLING THE PERIMITER.

Long Jump followed by Girls Long Jump.

and Pole Vault will be conducted at the same time, but scored separately.
Long
Jumpers and Triple Jumpers will receive 3 jumps. Shot putters and discus throwers will receive
3 throws.

We are also going to try to have a turbo-javelin competition at this meet. This
will be an exhibition event and will not affect team scoring. Awards will be
given though. The event will consist of three throws for each competitor. More
information will be provided at the meet. This event will not count towards an
athlete’s three events.
