Subject: 2008 South Fayette Lion’s Track and Field (AA) Invitational –Saturday May 3, 2008

 

 

        Come join us for The South Fayette Lion’s Second Annual Track and Field (AA) Invitational.  The new facility sports all new track and field equipment and new field event venues along with a state-of-the-art Daktronics timing system and jumbotron style score board. The new timing system interfaces with Hy-Tech Meet Manager and Lynix Auto Timing Systems for on-screen actual time results.

 

         Team entries are to be entered on Direct Athletes web site at: www.directathletes.com/contact_us.html with a meet entry dead line of April 26, 2008 at 12:00 PM. The cost per team is $75.00 or $150.00 for both boys/girls teams. (No day of meet additions). Each school team will be permitted to enter (2) athletes per event and one relay team per relay event.

 

Awards:  Team trophies will be awarded to the top three team finishers, both boys and girls, based on total points awarded as follows: 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1 for the first 8 Places.

                Individual metals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

                Individual ribbons will be awarded to 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. Place finishers.

Individual plaques for best track and best field performer awards will be given to both boys and girls, and will be based on points awarded separately at the competition in track or field.

 

Each team must supply (2) coaches to help officiate the meet. Assignments will be based on personal requests, when possible, received prior to the meet registration deadline via email to the meet director.

 

Please confirm your team’s intentions to participate in the meet by March 1, 2008 to meet director Mike Heiser by email at mheiser@southfayette.org Entry fees are due by April 1, 2008. Make checks payable to the South Fayette Track and Field Association and mail them to:
