The Boyd County Classic

Track and Field Invitational

Saturday, April 19th, 2008

Coach:

Boyd County High School will be hosting its 34th B.C. Classic Invitational on April 19st 2008. Please respond to me by e-mail, no later than April 14^th with an event file if you are planning to attend. All entries will need to be sent via hy-tek. If you have are not sure how to use this program please let me know this before the deadline. Attached is an entry form that you may use to fill in but should only be used as a back-up. All contact information is listed at the bottom.

Entry Fees: $45.00 per team, $80.00 if you enter both boys and girls.

$6.00 per individual if less than six team members.

Entries: Two persons per individual event and one relay per relay

event. The number of entries will determine if the meet will be set up as timed finals or prelims/finals.

Awards: Team – 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place team trophy.

Individual – medals for 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, place finishes in each

event. Ribbons – 4^th – 8^th.

High point trophy for both boys and girls athletes.

Don McWhorter Trophy: for combined boys and girls

team score.

Dr. Melvin Stewart Award: To the Outstanding Performance of

the meet.

Coaches: Coaches’ meeting 9:00 to 9:30. Please be on time so that scratches can be made. Scratches ONLY…NO ADDITIONS ON THE DAY OF THE MEET. Coaches- please send any changes you have ahead of time. I will be making changes until Thursday @ 12:00 pm. At this time I will prepare our meet program as a final draft.
