Dear Coach:

This is your information packet on the 2007 Cline Stansberry/Dominion Transmission Invitational Track Meet to be held on Friday, April 20, 2007 at Cline Stansberry Stadium in West Union, WV.

Time: Field events will begin at 3:30pm. We hope to start running events around 4:00pm. We will follow the format for a two-session meet.

Awards: Trophies will be given to the top 2 teams and to the top individual in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions. Also, winners of each event will receive medals. Ribbons will be awarded to placers 2 – 6 in all events.

Entry Fee: $30 per team. Make checks payable to DCHS Athletics. Please mail it promptly. ($60 total for boys and girls. Only $50 if you use the Team Manager Lite program to e-mail us your entries!)

Entry Deadline: Monday, April 16, 2007 if you are faxing. Wednesday, April 18 if you are using team manager or team manager lite. If you are faxing, use the number 1-775-655-5335. If you e-mail them see the directions below

Entries: Because we only have 7 teams (Lincoln, Ritchie, Point Pleasant, Wirt, Bridgeport, Doddridge, & Tygarts Valley) a team may enter up to 5 athletes in each field event, up to 4 in each running event 400m or shorter, and as many as they want in races that are 800m or longer. Note: Only 3 athletes per team may place in any individual event. You may also run extra relay teams, but only one relay team per school can place.

Scratches: Please FAX your scratches and replacements before noon on meet day (775-655-5335). Last minute scratches and replacements will also be accepted until 2:30pm at the meet. However, please make every effort to get this information to us no later than noon.

Miscellaneous: The concession stand will be open. Starting blocks will be provided. The longest spikes allowed on our track are ¼ inch. The following field events will be contested first: Girls shot put, pole vault, & long jump and Boys discus & high jump. There will be trials and finals in the throws and long jump. We will have a meal for coaches between the 400m dash and 4x800m relay

There are two ways to get your entries to us:

1) You could fax your completed entry form to Josh Weekley (RunWV) at 1-775-655-5335. Please use the correct type of entry form which has the athletes’ names at the left and the events they will be participating in on the right! If you do not have such an entry form, please download the Generic Entry Form on RunWV’s News page.

2) You could use the system that Bridgeport High School uses for its home meets. If you choose this method, you will need to use the Team Manager Lite software, which is available for download at www.bridgeporttrack.com. Once you have downloaded this program you will then need the event file for the Cline Stansberry/Dominion Transmission Invitational. This file is posted at www.runwv.com . You then need to download this file and import it into the Team Manager Lite program that you have already downloaded. Then you do your entries, export the meet entries, and e-mail your entry file to runwv@runwv.com. This is the preferred method. It gets you in good with the meet director and the “runwv guy” and saves you $10.00. Also, it is very accurate, efficient and saves time, as the entries do not have to be typed into our computer. This is good for you as your entries will be as accurate as you make them. They go straight from you to our computer. Also, you can use the Team Manager Lite program for later meets, including the regional, with great ease and efficiency. It’s good for us as your entry can be put into the Hy-Tek program in a matter of seconds using this method! Also, if you use this method, your deadline is extended to Wednesday, April 18, 2007.
